Energy efficient lighting fixtures contemporary Cordillera by Hinkley Outdoor Lighting

Cordillera by Hinkley Outdoor Lighting reminds me of the spirit of the Bauhaus artists. Most likely, I am influenced by my recent visit to the Lyonel Feiniger and Simryn Gill photography exhibits at the Getty Museum.

How can I say that about a fluorescent lighting family that looks like modern Art Deco? Let me do an analogy. I thought I’d linger all day in the European traditional art section but my sister-in-law coaxed me to take a look at contemporary photographs in the museum. I’m glad I chose to explore! Simryn Gill tore strips of print out of books to create heart-shaped leaves and brambles in her Forest exhibit. I melted towards modern art. Lyonel Feiniger captured the joy of Bauhaus students in their dorms practicing for Jazz band. Though this exuberance was stopped by the Nazis, the photographs of freedom and artistic expression remain.

What does this have to do with Cordillera? This family of energy saving outdoor lights fits in contemporary and transitional styles. This means that traditional decor would welcome it and so would a home with contemporary architecture. Just as I’ve warmed towards contemporary art through photographs, Cordillera will win over individuals who thought they only preferred traditional lighting. Cordillera’s buckeye bronze finish gives it a rustic looking belt. However, it’s cylindrical shape is unmistakably modern. The repeated rectangles work well in Asian-inspired gardens too. I call Cordillera contemporary design with warmth because of its amber glass.
