Did you know that food celebrity chef, Alton Brown, was born in the south? Last night I made southern biscuits. Tall, flaky, perfect biscuits. Sadly, I do not know many other authentic recipes from the American South but I would like to travel there again.

Augusta, Georgia is also known for the Morris Museum of Art and its art dating back to the late 18th century. In addition, if you believe TripAdvisor, it’s the oldest museum in the South. As you know from my previous posts, I am a fine art museum junkie. I am also interested in the Edwardian-style architecture of Historic Broad Street’s Imperial Theatre in Augusta.
