Augusta Traditional Outdoor Ceiling Light by Hinkley Outdoor Lighting
Date : November 18th, 2011
Did you know that food celebrity chef, Alton Brown, was born in the south? Last night I made southern biscuits. Tall, flaky, perfect biscuits. Sadly, I do not know many other authentic recipes from the American South but I would like to travel there again.
Hinkley Outdoor Lighting calls this flush mount ceiling light, Augusta. Instantly, I think of the hometown of the soul singer James Brown. Augusta, Georgia is also known for the Morris Museum of Art and its art dating back to the late 18th century. In addition, if you believe TripAdvisor, it’s the oldest museum in the South. As you know from my previous posts, I am a fine art museum junkie. I am also interested in the Edwardian-style architecture of Historic Broad Street’s Imperial Theatre in Augusta.
Maybe, like me, you can’t afford a culinary tour of the south right now. Don’t be overly disappointed. Select the charming traditional outdoor ceiling lighting fixture by Hinkley Outdoor Lighting. It’s 9″ high and 14″ in diameter. The beveled glass shade and copper bronze finish will make you think of peach desserts sweetened with molasses.
